This week’s Digital Fabrication project relied on Vectorworks and Mastercam to generate a NC File for the CNC Router. I created a hexagonal container made of MDF.
The container is made of three pieces. The top portion is routed for a snug fit in the center portion. The middle section is simple a hollowed out ring to add more depth to the container. Lastly, the bottom section is pocketed.
A 1/4” bit was used to cut and pocket.
