NYC Reinvent Green Hackathon

I will be participating in the NYC.gov Reinvent Green Hackathon this weekend (June 30th-July 1st).

“The hackathon aims to rally and incentivize the City’s best technology talent to create digital tools and apps that encourage a greener, greater New York.”

I’m pretty psyched to fuse OpenNYC’s data points with the current API offerings of Twitter, Foursquare, Google, and their ilk. Here’s a list of the API partners. Some of the suggested projects include apps for NYC building statistics, carbon footprint stats, and a “cool roof” database.
